So it’s time to plan a rustic wedding. The rustic charm of a wedding in the countryside, with burlap and pretty flowers is calling many brides this wedding season. There is always so much to do for any wedding and although we all have a team of friends willing to help, coordinating it all is the bride to be. Rustic weddings are perfect for outdoor weddings, at home or in a wedding venue under canvas.
We would suggest a great starting point is the table decor, the decor of the wedding focuses on the tables as the wow factor when we enter the room and of course as we sit with friends and family and enjoy the wedding together.

Tablecovers
Start at the bottom and work your way up. White linen tablecovers with a rustic burlap table runner is a great place to start, if you are planning a DIY wedding then make sure it’s ironed – otherwise your hotel will of course manage this for you.
The best wedding stables are layered, make sure you have room for your crockery and glassware and of course cutlery.
Table Numbers
Never assume that larger calligraphy is easy – these pre-printed scripted table numbers can be stood along in the centre of your wedding tables or on the rustic slice of log if you need the extra height. The place cards are made of card in a kraft colour, with a white print, numbered 1 through to 12.
Many brides like to bring flowers to their centrepieces and we are rather impressed with these pretty little jam jars with fresh flowers. Table numbers are also printed on these little flags which can easily be slotted into the jars.
Placecards
Back in fashion allowing you to seat appropriate people together to make sure all your guests have a great time. These rustic place cards are blank and we suggest a white pen to co-ordinate with the rustic element of the wedding to write these.
Other ideas for your guests are little luggage labels tied around the napkins, or even individual little glass vases with a small bouquet of fresh flowers – wonderful for the ladies to take home at the end of the party too.
Little twinkle lights, if you are outside use solar powered ones to light up the table sin the evenings. These rustic foliage lights are rather special and would certainly find a place at home after the wedding.
If your wedding venue allows tea lights in these rustic log holderswould look amazing, although we have found recently the battery operated ones have much improved and are perfect for safety reasons and especially if you have children sat at the tables.
The romance of your wedding day is not lost on your guests, they are there because they are special to you and want to share in your day. Little touches like these cute wooden easels with a personal photo will be wonderful.
